Player Fees

The entry fee for the competition is £6 per player, serving a dual purpose. The initial £3 constitutes a charitable donation directly benefitting CANCER RESEARCH UK. The remaining £3 covers the players' competition fee, addressing various administrative expenses incurred by swingagainstcancer.com to ensure the seamless execution of competitions.

These administrative costs encompass fixture coordination, reservation of player tee times, result collection and processing, publication of results on the website, player payment processing, provision of trophies and medals, and other essential administrative tasks.

Payment procedure for Charity donations

In Round 1, the Home Club will collect all £6 entry fees from its participating players, mirroring the conventional process for regular club competition fees. Subsequently, the Club will combine the £3 players' charity donations and make a single contribution through our website's Giving Page DONATE feature. This direct link facilitates a smooth transfer to the Cancer Research UK website, specifically under the Swing Against Cancer initiative.

To make the donation, the Golf Club simply enters its name, specifies the total amount raised in the designated empty amount box, and initiates the payment, contributing directly to Cancer Research UK. It's a straightforward process that ensures transparency and efficiency.

It's important to note that swingagainstcancer.com does not handle donation payments; these funds are directed straight to the charity.

Payment procedure for competition fees

The £3 per player competition entry fee is to be paid to swingagainstcancer via our website's secure payment facility. Each participating Club will receive an exclusive payment link, and we kindly request that Clubs settle both the charity donation and competition fees within 7 days following the event. This prompt payment supports the continued success of our initiatives and contributes to the overall impact on cancer research.
