Round 1) It all starts at your home Club, players will be invited to take part in a Club nominated competition in either May or June, these could be the Gents/Ladies Monthly Medal or a midweek Stableford, really just any competition/s the home Club choose to use.

 

These will serve as your Round One Club Qualifier/s for our competitions.

From these the Clubs top 4 net or point scorers in each of our three trophy categories will be invited to represent their Club in Round 2, their respective Regional Finals.

Each participating Club will have 12 Players in total in Round 2.

4 in the Gents aged 18+

4 in the Ladies aged 18+

4 in the Seniors aged 60+

 

Round 2) The 10 England Regional Finals ( August )

At this point the real competitive golfing FUN starts, the 4 Club Qualifying players from each category will have two chances at glory, firstly in the individual competition, but also as a part of a 4 player Club Team.

We have created an innovative scoring system, that ensures both a competitive and fun competition, using a 95% Stableford allowance system per player, the Team Score will be all 4 players combined point scores, ie 36 points x 4 players = 144 points score.

The Club Team with the highest score will progress to the Final, and in the event of ties our countback system will decide the winners, EVERY POINT COUNTS !

 

In our Singles Individual Trophies, the players score speaks for itself, ie 36 points x 1 = 36.

However this gives every Player in the field the chance to progress, regardless of the performance of other Team Members, in effect two bites of the cherry.

Again in the event of ties our countback system will decide the winner.

 

Round 3) The "Champion of Champions" England National Finals (September)

The winning team/s individual/s from each of our 10 Regional Finals, will then have progressed to do battle in our England Finals, to become our National WINNERS !

Our three "Champion of Champions" Finals, will be staged on separate courses, all these within a 20 mile radius of each other, this to allow all finalist players to attend the evening prize presentation and gala dinner, each Player will receive a Trophy and Medal.

A date of  Monday 16th September 2024 is provisionally in place.

The question is can you be one of the last teams/individuals standing.

All participating clubs will receive a Welcome Pack to display on their noticeboards, this will contain their relevant Regional and National Final Venues/cost and dates, these will be confirmed once registration is closed, then when all the entries have been counted and divided fairly into equal Regional numbers and a draw has taken place, Clubs will receive the Welcome Packs well in advance of their Club Qualifiers.
